Sara

I’m writing this page for the following reason:
If I were to walk outside and see a balloon floating toward the clouds, my first thought would be: where did that balloon come from?  And I’d look around for the source.  I imagine you might have a similar response.
A blog is sort of like that free-flying balloon … unless it has a real person behind it to give it’s musings some grounding.  After all, a story is much less interesting when it doesn’t have a main character through which to tell its experiences.  And I don’t know about you, but when I visit other blogs one of the first things I want to know is:  who’s writing this anyway?
So that said, hello!  I’m Sara, and I’m glad to share life with you!  Let me share a bit about myself and my blog:
1.  For as long as I can remember I’ve been storing up words in journals, papers, lists, and just in my head.  As an English teacher I share those words daily, but I’ve decided to try some writing just for me with this blog.  Perhaps someday I’ll write something you might find worth storing in your own “word bank.”
2.  Life goes super fast, and as a teacher, cheer coach, friend, daughter, sister, etc. I find that I forget to enjoy the day to day.  I’m hoping that by putting my daily life into WORDS and sharing them with you it will help me reflect with gratefulness on the moments I’ve been given … for how else do we experience life but in the words of our thoughts?
3.  I love lists.  I think FAST, and lists help me streamline my life.  So look for lists.  :)
4.  Speaking of which, here’s a list of facts to help complete your picture of “Raz as Author”:
1. I can’t smell. Anything.
2. !gniddik oN … sdrawkcab tneulf kaeps I.
3. I don’t get bored.
4. I’m addicted to coffee.
5. Life right now is full of family, my best friend roommate, M.C., cheerleading, teaching, good books, good conversation, good company, and a life trusting in God in the whirl of life :)
